Social media
Before Customer ship, ethics and interaction skills course, I mostly used social media for personal
reasons, like chatting with friends and watching videos. I did not think deeply
about how social media relates to professional work.
In the social media topic, I learned that social media has
both risks and possibilities for professionals. On the one hand, it can be a
useful tool to share reliable information, promote health and services, and
reach people who might otherwise be difficult to contact. On the other hand,
there are big risks related to privacy, confidentiality and professional
boundaries.
I understood that as a future professional, I must be very
careful about what I post online. I should never share any information about
customers, workplaces or colleagues. I also need to keep my personal and
professional profiles separate and follow the organization’s rules and
guidelines.
In my future work, I will use social media carefully and
ethically. I want to use it mainly for education and information sharing, and I
will avoid posting anything that could harm my customers, my colleagues or my
own professional reputation.
